What does it mean to be an active client with GBE?

  1. Great Bay Equine see’s your horse(s) one to two times annually for routine preventative care. Routine preventative care at minimum includes:

    • Wellness/medical exam +/- oral exam and float

    • Routine vaccines & Coggins

  2. We must have a current/active credit card on file. Please see the “Payment Policy” tab for more details. Unpaid balances will accumulate late fees. Clients who do not pay invoices within our payment policy guidelines may be subject to a non-client fee and/or no longer be seen by our practice at the discretion of GBE.

  3. We, in coordination with TNT Equine will provide 24/7 emergency coverage, seven days a week at the GBE client rate instead of the increased non-client rate.

  4. Active clients have easy access to medications and medical supplies with speedy approval of prescriptions through our online pharmacy.

Please note, If we have only seen your horse previously on emergency, this does not qualify you as a current active client. If you are not an active client, you will be charged a non-client urgent care fee and be seen based on our availability with priority given to active current clients. Your horse is not considered an active patient until after their first wellness/routine care visit. Please also note that we do share emergency coverage with TNT Equine. TNT Equine will only see currently active Great Bay Equine clients.

Thank you for choosing Great Bay Equine for your equine veterinarian services.
